Tallow may sound unconventional, but it’s one of the most effective and biologically compatible ingredients you can put on your skin. At Tallie, we use only grass-fed, Canadian-sourced beef tallow that is gently purified and completely scentless.
Tallow closely mimics the natural composition of human skin lipids. That means it absorbs easily, supports your skin’s barrier function, and locks in moisture without clogging pores or disrupting your microbiome. Unlike water-based or synthetic creams, tallow-based moisturizers nourish the skin at a cellular level, delivering essential fat-soluble vitamins that many modern products leave out.

I’ve always loved skincare and beauty, but over the past couple of years, I started going through a bit of a moral dilemma. The more I learned, the harder it became to ignore what was actually in the products I was using. So many of them were full of ingredients that were endocrine disrupting, inflammatory, immune compromising — even carcinogenic
It honestly sucked to learn. Ignorance felt like bliss. But once I knew, I couldn’t un-know
I started searching for products that were clean and natural, but still felt beautiful and fun to use. I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I started making my own - simple, nourishing, and effective
As someone who’s dealt with cystic acne and sensitive skin for most of my life, nothing has helped me the way tallow has. It’s calming, nutrient-rich, and has truly changed my skin. That’s when Tallie was born
Tallie is my answer to everything I was missing - organic, ethically sourced, tallow-based skincare that actually works and feels good to use. I made my first lip balm one night just for fun, and now I’m building a full line
